Vianca Reinig and Philipp Schmidt travelled to Lewis and Harris, the northernmost Scottish island of the Outer Hebrides, and were captivated by its beauty. The book makes the unique landscape, its rugged originality and rough colourfulness come alive: With a wide variety of perspectives, sudden cuts between panoramic shots and the smallest details, this lavishly designed artist’s book has a chronological and almost cinematic sequence of images that brings the impressions of the journey vividly to life.
